Ok I learned magic loop last night and raved all day as I knit my cuff and heel flap. But here I am stuck on the dang gussets. Ive been at this for 3 hours now. I will not give up!

But I am having trouble. I think it is because I am that lefty knitter. I cant seem to grasp what should be going where. The instructions in the magic loop book just are not making sense to me.
I do just fine up to the following sections. I hope some good and kind soul will help me here.

[/quote]Pull out the back needle to use as the working needle. Slip the first 7 sts from left to right needle to return to the point where the working yarn is attached. Using this yarn, pick up and knit 11 sts along side of heel flap, place marker. K11 instep sts. Slide sts to home.

The instructions continue with a "backwards" repeat for the other half of the sock.

My trouble is that these instructions seem to gain more on the working needle than I can comfortably hold. Everything is getting all bound up!

Perhaps I am tired?
Please help - with the instructions. I will get some sleep to make up for any intellectual defficiencies :)
