Hi everyone,

What should I do with this ball of cream and silver yarn?

Can't make anything that is in direct contact with the skin because the silver thread in it is itchi.

Thank you all.

Send it to MEEEE-EEEEE!

It's my anniversary! (wedding, not knitting related  )

But I guess if you have to keep it for yourself, make a little clutch purse with a sparkly button. It's pretty...

A little purse is a great idea! You could line it with silver or white satin.

Thanks guys,

A purse sounds a bit complicated for me at the moment but I thought of a hair band or two in garter stutch or ribbed to make it a bit stretchy.

Do you have any particular purse pattern you were thinking about?

A purse or clutch might not be that complicated at all - you could do a stitch pattern in a rectangular shape and then just seam up the sides. Just a thought.

Here's a few simple ones that would look nice in that yarn!

There are, of course, a ton of bags here to go through.

An envelope clutch purse would be pretty easy. Just straight knitting and then decreasing for a pointy flap, or even just straight knitting and folding the flap over. You could find a pattern on the net somewhere, I'd bet. Try lionbrand's site. Very photogenic yarn, by the way. ;o) samm

Thank you all.

Jan, the first pattern you suggested is perfect. I'm going to save and use it.
