A man I work with just became a dad for the second time, so I knit this up for his new son, Andrew. The pattern was from here (http://freddyknits.blogspot.com/2005/03/beginners-fair-isle-baby-hat-free.html) . I used Plymouth Encore in a dk weight on size 6 needles. Went fast, too!

I made this same hat last year in the same colors. I love the pattern, it is so easy. If you have never done fair isle before, this is a good one to try it out, and to practice stranding loosely!
