A couple people asked where I got the pattern. Other than looking at a baby pattern to see how many to CO I made it up. Here it is if anyone wants it.

CO 70 stitches on size 3 needles and knit about 1.5 inches or so then switched to size 4. I'm not sure that made any difference though.

Knit for about 4 inches measured from CO row. Switch to DPNs or whatever method you like for small diameter knitting.

Start decreasing :
*k8, k2tog*
Knit 2 rows even

*k7, k2tog*
Knit 2 rows even

*k6, k2tog*
Knit 1 row even

*k5, k2tog*
Knit 1 row even

*k4, k2tog*
knit 1 row

Continue decrease rows in pattern now and when you are down to about 8 stitches cut yarn and pull through loops twice and weave in.

It's baby yarn... Okay here is what the tag says:

50gms 240 yards 4 ply

Weird it doesn't say anything about needle size or gauge. :?? It feels and looks like baby yarn and isn't as fine as sock yarn.
