I am working on a baby blanet and have about 3 inches... the co line was tight for some reason and I pulled on it and snap
does this mean I need to FROG or can I keep going :??

It will probably unravel if you don't. If it's only one small spot, you might be able to sew it, but it will probably show. Sorry!

The first 2 rows afer the CO is knitted (not purled) does that make a difference???

No. If a stitch is unsecured it will unravel, whether it's a knit or purl. It's just as if it's off the needle.

I guess at least I didn't have that much done.

You know what... its alright! I wasn't really sure I was doing the pattern of the stich correctly or not. So I just pulled it all out. It wasn't much.
But my cast on line is still really tight :??
I changed colors so I too the starting yarn on a yarn needle and threaded it through to reinforce it.
We will see if that works I suppose

You basically put in a life line, it sounds like. That will prevent any unravelling if it should happen again.

A good way to keep your cast on from being too tight is to cast onto a needle a size or two larger than the one you'll be using. Then use the right-sized needle to knit or purl your cast on off of the larger needle and then just use the two right-sized needles needles to do your project.

Thats what I did... I am using size 8's but cast on with 10's :??
