...when this happened. Normally he sits about 3 feet away while I'm knitting, just to make sure mommy doesn't get attacked by that snake-looking thing that keeps moving around, but I guess tonight that wasn't good enough... I was sitting roughly where his feet are before I went to grab my phone to take a picture.

I love it when my cat settles in on my lap or thereabouts when I knit. Sometimes he's naughty and messes with a string to two. But we come to an understanding most of the time and if he sits nice, the yarn can slide right over his back and he doesn't move a muscle.
There's something rather poetic about knitting with a cat in your lap. Like all is right with the world and the planets are aligned.

I love my cat. Sometimes she'll sit next to me nicely while I'm knitting. Occassionally I have to yell at her. :D At some point, when I don't have a life or twelve other projects on the needles, I might just make her a cat bed. :D
