Ok, so, I have a wee baby nephew on the way, and I am going to knit him some uggs (http://www.diynet.com/diy/na_knitting/article/0,2025,DIY_14141_3148516,00.html), too cute not to... but I got to thinking, my older nephew loves cowboys and indians... so much so that he has a Teepee in his bedroom. I was thinking of knitting him some moccasins, or uggs, but I can't find a pattern to work with. do you think it possible to modify the ugg pattern enough that it'll fit the foot of a near 5 year old boy?

Good question. I just don't know though. I wouldn't mind having some booties like these for myself! :roflhard: I have some yarn to make them so I'll see how the pattern goes. It may not be hard to adjust.

You can adjust the ugg pattern to be larger too. But it requires knitting math, and I won't go into detailes unless you need the info. Lemme know!
