The first set I'm showing is a Christmas present for my friend(yes, it's taken me awhile to upload it :D ). She really liked them, at least I hope she did, lol!
The yarn I used was Berocco Foliage and it was so pretty! The scarf pattern was from the little box of scarves-it was suppose to be 1x1 rib, but I made a mistake and it ended up as seed stitch. I think it looks pretty nice this way, so it wasn't too big a mistake (and I would have frogged it if I didn't like the way it was turning out).
The hat is just a rolled brimmed hat.
The next set is a b-day present for my sil. She got the hat today and a picture of the scarf (which I hope to finish this week).
The yarn is JoAnn's Sensations Bellezza Collection Cosetta. The hat is a cabled hat from Simple Cabled Accessories (it's a little difficult to see the cables in the picture) and the scarf pattern is one that I'm sure you all recognise- the Irish Hiking Scarf. My sil loved her hat and can't wait for me to finish the scarf.
