Hi...
I am wondering if someone has felted with Wool of the Andes...
Proud Peruvian! :)

Many, many people around here have felted with it and it works very, very well, too.

One more question...
When felting, does the stitch used make a difference?

I don't believe there's too much visible difference between different types of stitches when something is felted.

The only thing I've kinda noticed is that garter stitch tends to felt up into a slightly thicker fabric than stockinette stitch, but maybe that's my observation.
I've only felted with WOTA and Lamb's Pride worsted and I must say that both felt up lovely! If you don't want too much fuzz, then WOTA is the way to go. Here's a pic of a felted lamb made with WOTA in tan and coal.
The Mod Squad was here - Photo Resized. Pictures should be no more than 500 pixels wide.

That lamby is adorable! I have the pattern, but not the yarn yet.
I've felted several things with WOTA and it felts just fine.

Melissa, if you choose to order from KP online, make sure that you click through one of the ads here on KH, then Amy gets a tiny kickback to help keep the site going!
