I am soooo sticker shocked (http://www.kyarns.com/classic-elite-embrace-cashmere-worsted-weight-yarn.html)!!!!!!! I understand it's cashmere, but .... damn!!!   The vest that calls for this yarn would require 3 skeins for my size. :help: :help:

lol what's really funny about that to me is that the yarn they picture isn't really all that pretty either. and i love those colors...they just look kinda muddy in the picture making it seem even more ridiculously priced!

I don't think any sweater could possibly be worth over $800 dollars unless it stayed up at night to clean the house for me. That is ridiculous. Can you imagine a $280 scarf? What's the point?

Totally!!!! .... although, I am sure that some place on New York or California, Paris or other "fashion" capitals have scarves for that much .... and that price is the SALE price. :roflhard:
Anyhooo - I'll put this yarn on my list for when I become a billionaire! ;)

Even if it only took one skein, that's still a $280 dollar vest!

I have this cashmere, Keja 100% Mongolian. The yardage is only 200yds, but this stuff is much more reasonable than what you were looking at.... sure it would still cost about $180....but that's still more reasonable!!!

You couldn't even wear the vest, you'd have to frame it!

:? I'm trying to figure why I would use something this expensive. We have sooooooo much nice yarn to pick from at reasonable price. Oh well, I guess to each is own. I have about $125. in this sweater I'm making and I thought that was bad :roflhard:

There are several sellers on eBay that sell recyled 100% cashmere for MUCH MUCH cheaper than you can buy new cashmere for. Just FYI!

I just showed that to DH, and he's much happier that my yarn purchases stay well under the $100 range.
