HI all! I've been lurkng here for a few weeks and am impressed with all the friendly people here. This site has been wonderful for learning the ins and outs of knitting.

A bit about me....I'm a 30something mom of two. I drive a school bus for a living and although its not my dream career, I love the fact that I can be with my kids and more importantly get the same holidays they do.

I started knitting about 3 weeks ago now and think I am pretty well hooked. :XX: I've knitted a scarf for my son (used phentex Merit) and a scarf and toque for my daughter (used Bernat Velour, Think Pink). I've just started the My So Called Scarf that I saw a link to here. I a really liking the challenge of learning these new stitches. I have quite a few projects lined up here :shock: ...I can't wait to see if I can manage some of these patterns I've seen. Yikes!

Hi DragonTush! What a funny name! My aunt used to drive a schoolbus and I always envied her. It's a pretty impressive job imo. :thumbsup:
