This Scottish Bonnet (http://f1.grp.yahoofs.com/v1/kGspRJv1XEaIEfN_evDw2sbsM7JvHAo6cZSWfKp8hrcN2rtZsp W7AfxAHbgLHfSpkCTWLdKB34EMWFDzsvKKSMK7JmHImDL57Lo/BonnetDir.htm) could be worn by either sex today; I found this in the archives of an 18thc historic interpreters' list.
Enjoy!

No, there was no picture. In design it is a good basic tam-o-shanter style bonnet (aka knitted flying saucer).

Thanks! That helps. I "get the picture" without a picture. ;)
