Hi Everyone-

I found a purse pattern that would make a perfect birthday present for my sister-in-law but the pattern is $5 :( The purse is shown here http://www.knitwhits.com/lexi.shtml . I was just wondering if anyone has seen a free pattern for something like this. I'll pay the $5 for the pattern but I wanted to check with you guys first ;)
Any ideas or help would be awesome!!

Here is a pattern for a houndstooth afghan with the same design.

You could use the pattern for the background design, and make it the size you want. After it's felted, you could cut pieces and sew them together to make the purse. Just an idea.
