i love your avatard, knitterma!

and the bronty is adorable. seth would love it, but i think my dog would tear it up. poor seth is stuck with emtal objects for now. no cuddle toys. the gizmodo dragon eats them all.

dadadada! Meet Bronty!

He turned out less than perfect thanks to my crappy seaming, but I think I'm in love!

Anybody wanna help me convert the other patterns to in the round? I so love Mr Stegs but I'm not sure I wanna knit him flat.

How cute!

If you want more dinosaurs, Jean Greenhowe has an entire group of dinosaur and cavemen patterns in her "Toy Collection" book.

It's a booklet and is often available on ebay or here https://www.frugalhaus.com/scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=124

My grandson loves these. He's often trying to get them from me before I even finish cutting off the last tail.

I couldn't get the link to open for the free patterns, so I decided to order the Jean Greenhowe book to make some dinosaurs from my boyfriend's niece's birthday. The pattern says to use double knit yarn. For those of you who have made those dinosaurs, would it be okay to substitute 100% cotton. I found some sugar 'n cream yarn in really bright funky colors that I think would be fun to use. I'm not really sure what double knit yarn is anyway.

Also, since I don't have the pattern yet (still waiting for the mailman), does it take more than one 50g ball of yarn to make a dinosaur?
