Do you think Shine Worsted would be okay for a tank top or is there a better yarn I should use?
Thank you.

I'd love to know this too. I just ordered 10 balls of green apple today for a baby blanket (1st knitpicks order...ooohh I'm a knitpicks virgin!).

I think it would be fine. You can use any yarn you want in this project. I'm using the sport weight Shine, but it means I'll have to use a smaller needle.

No comment on the shine worsted because I haven't used it, but just wanted to say that I HAVE used the green apple color, in the regular shine yarn, and I love love love that colour!!!

Now I am soooooooooo mad at Hildie, and Knitwit too, its all your fault! I went to knitpicks to order two more skeins of my shine sport, and was going to use the double-secret probation shipping code and everything, and then I looked at the shine worsted, and one of the colors was crying to come home to me, just sobbing! So I ended up buying that too! And now it can come home and be friends with all the cottonease that I really should be using on this project. Just what I need. More yarn!

Yeah I was looking for some yarn - and couldnt find it - all my tubs and bins are full, so its time to either start using what I have or get another big tub!

You do know that the only answer to this dilemma is to get a bigger tub... there's no way you should be deprived of yarn. Not if you are a true knitter. Samm who has tub after tub after tub and bags and a hanging thingy and some new wire cubbies to fill with yarn. :D

Maybe next year when #1 son goes to college, I can take over his entire bedroom!
