I'm planning to attempt felted clogs and was wondering if anyone out there has used leather or suede soles for them. I saw a few web sites that sell them with pre-punched holes on the side to attach them.

If anyone has tried them, where did you purchase them? Any issues or hints for sewing them on? What size worked best for the size clogs you made? Any other comments or suggestions?

Thanks,
Lynn

I haven't tried them, but they're a great idea. The clogs can be a bit slippery! I've also heard of people using craft rubber on the bottoms. If you go to the KAL forum there is a huge thread on the FT clogs. You can probably find some talk there about the leather soles/other methods of making the bottoms less slippery.
