I was touching yarn at Walmart this weekend and just loved the feel of Red Heart Symphony. Have any of you knitted with it? Did you double strand it or knit alone?

I've felt that stuff up at work too, but none of it has followed me home yet to try out... sorry. :(

I made a hat with the symphony. It reminds me a little bit of paton's divine, but the symphony is MUCH easier to knit with. You should try it!

Hi Christine!

I am currently working with Symphony, it's an excellent yarn. Here are some highlights:
-Very airy, feels like it floats!
-Fluffy, incredibly fluffy.
- Sometimes can be hard to see individual stiches on needles, especially when just casting on.
- The halo around the yarn can be a bit difficult to work with, it tends to catch on my needle tips in the middle of a stitch.
- It tends to set very easily, so you have to becareful when ripping out stitches.
- Beautiful color changes!

I hope this helps!
