I knitted this in Rowan Polar - colour Stony. I'm loving this more each time I wear it!

That is beautiful! You did a great job.

I have never met Rowan Polar in real life, but it sounds like a really soft yarn. I am imagining plush and squishy!

Thanks all - what a nice boost to the ego!

I cast on for this on Mar 15, but I didn't work solely on it - I did some clogs, a scrunchable scarf at the same time. The cabling got to me after a bit and I was glad to finish it - I am very impatient.

Now ... what's next!

it's AWESOME & LOOKS SOOOO GOOD ON YOU!!!! love it!
my first question was going to be how long did it take you?
(march to may... i'm SICK green w/jealousy) and for my
next question... how long have you been knitting?

oh & how many yards or skiens... (or whatever) did you use?
i've gotta pattern from a vintage (70's) book that looks somewhat
sizewise similar... but i cant figure out how to estimate because the
yarn they suggest isnt made anymore... (just wanna guesstimate)

thnx & congrats on some really GORGEOUS work! that is such a kick@ss sweater! and you MADE IT....

oh, it's a bit gorgeous!

I was wondering, Amanda, if you had to make any changes to the pattern due to it being American and as I've noticed, you like in the UK.- ie. i've had trouble with yarn substitutions in US patterns lately.
