i finished my first booga bag monday night. i knitted it up and had it felted and on a box to block in a day and a half...not bad. i really like the colors, its noro kureyon #163. i still had a half skien left so i might make a small makeup bag or coin purse to match. im also going to sew some fabric around a piece of cardboard to give the bottom of the bag some support.
this was my first felting project--now i understand why many people say its addicting. haha.

:D Great job...I did about the same thing in the bottom of my booga bag, but I didn't cover my cardboard, LOL, I wanted to use it right away & didn't bother with covering it ;)
I think a small make up bag or coin purse is a great idea

What beautiful light colors - gotta love Noro.

You've inspired me to get back to my booga and knit those I-cord handles  .

Love the colors!

We discovered that my husbands boot dryer isn't really a boot dryer after all.. it's a felted bag dryer! :lol Imagine that!

I just LOVE your bag :inlove: ! Great colors and super job on keeping the stripes straight. I appreciate the tip on covering a piece of cardboard with fabric for reinforcement in the bottom. Thanks for posting!
