View Full Version : OT "Best day of the year!"

Last night was my oldest daughters recital! I heard a mom say "this is always the best day of the year for me", and I thought, me too it doesn't get any better then this!

Julia was our baby who was so sick at birth we weren't sure we would be taking her home from the hospital. So these events seem extra special with her. She is a pleasure to know and live with, she is our ray of sunshine. Her performance was wonderful! This is her first year of ballet (second of jazz) and she was given key positions in both dances. She is such a sweetie it hasn't gone to her head. She did great and I was so impressed!

I am so proud of this kid!

My son always asks why I cry when he sings. I don't know! But when I hear him singing, even with a group, I just weep. There is something pure and beautiful about children being one with music and art. So special! She looks fantastic. Congratulations to her and to you!

Thanks Ladies!

Yes! I always cry when she dances on stage, and truth be told often at home.

I'm still beaming today!

Isn't she gorgeous!

I was so glad the lights were turned down last night at my 5 y/o DS's preschool graduation, the preschool teacher had put together a slide show of the things they had done throughout the year and I had tears rolling down my face too!
