I know this is a knitting forum, but I'm sure a lot of people here know how to crochet as well. I was wanting to learn how to crochet to make some chokers and necklaces. I tried knitting them, but they didn't turn out quite right, and I've seen some pretty crochet chokers. I was just wondering if anyone knew of any good crochet sites that might be able to help me out?

If you go to www.about.com , you can find some great pictures and basic instructions for crochet stitches. I have crocheted for a long time and I know others around here have as well. Feel free to PM if you have specific questions.

I was just wondering if anyone knew of any good crochet sites that might be able to help me out? This is probably the best site for crochet lessons.http://www.crochet.org/lessons/lesson.html

This site looked interesting and might be helpful, but I haven't been back since first glance.

I always liked this website:
http://home.inreach.com/marthac/links.html
(It's full of great links, for patterns as well as how-tos. It has a jewelry section also.) :D

I have to second the recommendation for crochetville.com
Lots of great info and helpful, friendly folks. I visit there every day and am learning new things from them all the time :D
