Hello,

You have probably seen me post a few times. Sorry I haven't introduced myself sooner. My name is Jodi and I live on the Oregon Coast with 3 cats and 1 dog. I started knitting back in December. I am addicted. But as my mom says "It's a good addiction." I have completed a few projects: 3 cat beds, few hats and scarves. I have two projects currently going: my first pair of socks (1 down, 1 to go) and a booga bag. My next big project is an afghan (using Plymouth Encore) . I am calling it "waiting for my new puppy afghan." Why you wonder? Well I am currently in the process of adding another dog to my family. The breeder I am working with is expecting to breed sometime in the next month or so. The puppies won't be ready until the end of the year. So I need to something to keep me busy. Of course I am going to working on smaller projects too. ;)

This forum is a great help to me. I am glad I found it.

Jodi, Mom is right. Knitting is not a bad habit and not against the law, (yet). I presume, because of the addictive nature, it might someday be illegal.

Hi Jodi, and welcome to KH. It's great here isn't it? I live in KY-we own a farm just north of Lexington. I envy your location (we are sooooooooo horribly hot right now) and your new puppy. :heart: My husband tries to limit the amount of dogs I bring home, but it's a darn near impossible job.
