View Full Version : 4 skeins of Noro, how big can I make the booga?

I've had this Noro sitting around long enough, time to make the booga. I want to increase the size but I only have 4 skeins. How much bigger do you think I can go?

I'd make the strap first, then start making the bag and go until you run out of yarn.

Good idea! Wonder how big I could get away with casting on for the base. Hm. I don't want it to end up too short and fat.

Well, I wouldn't go too terribly much bigger because it's just one skein more than the actual pattern asks for, but even a bit of an increase in the base would probably make quite a difference.

Here is a pattern for a larger Booga that only uses 2 skeins of Noro. (She uses a different yarn for the base.)
You could make 2 bags with this pattern!

That's a great link, thanks!
