I used TLC Baby yarn on size 4 needles, easy pattern so I could look ot the window.

Oh my goodness my step mother used the same exact pattern for my own son's first outfit when he was born. I still have it, actually. :D It's almost exactly the same right down to the little bunny rabbit buttons!

:inlove: Beautiful! I'd love to know what pattern you used.

It's a very basic 'neck down' raglan. I calculate my patterns as I work and work something different on the body of the sweater each time.

This stitch pattern is: a multiply of 5 sts.
K2 tog, in next st [K1, P1, K1], ssk.

I worked that every 6th row in stockinette st.

I had those buttons picked out for this and when I tucked the yarn lable in the sweater for washing instructions, I notice the color was called "Bunny Print".

Thanks for all the nice compliments. I'm an "old" knitter and my technique isn't was it use to be. :frog: I am determined to push on. After all, I have a yarn stash that has yet to be knit.

How beautiful! It looks a lot like the quickie baby sweater (QBS). I love the pattern--I want to make the QBS for several paeople I know who are having babies but no one knows what they are having and I think it's a very feminine pattern! You did a wonderful job!
