I was thinking of making a hat for my toddler out of Lamb's Pride bulky superwash to make a hat for my toddler (it's a great color for him!)...

But would the chunky yarn look OK for a toddler hat? Most hats I see for young 'uns are made with worsted or lighter weight.

I can't find any pictures of chunky/bulky toddler hats.

Any advice?

i love lambs pride but it can be kind of itchy. i have never used the superwash though so maybe that will make a difference?
