I love making these dishcloth/washcloths. I know about knittingknonsense and knitwits. What others are out there?

Here (http://www.jimsyldesign.com/~dishbout/) is a good site for dishcloths. TONS of patterns.

I always snubbed my nose at making dishcloths until I made a few this summer. I live in GA and it's much too hot to even think about or touch wool! I've been traveling and they've made a small, inexpensive projects to take along in the plane, while waiting, or chit-chatting. I think I'll make a few dozen to give as little gifts over the holidays with a fancy soap.

I'm a member of the Monthy Dishcloths Yahoo Group http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MonthlyDishcloths/ which has some good patterns and two KALs a month. I also like Dishcloth Boutique http://www.jimsyldesign.com/~dishbout/ which if you use the JAVA version of the site, shows previews. You could always choose a stitch you like and make a dishcloth from that too!

I'm looking forward to watching this thread to see what else is posted!

Have y'all visited a pattern location staple for KHer's?
Sorry if I'm being Capt. Obvious...but hey, i'm so close to making a thousand posts here! Shameless plug

...there's a fabulous section on dishcloths, a lot from the site listed previously above. And the pattern BallBand Warshrag from the Mason-Dixon knitting book is fun to tote for a "something to do" project. They have KAL's at their site so you can see tons of variations, but the pattern for that cloth is on, you guessed it, the ball band of Peaches & Creme cottong from Wally World. Click on the KAL link on the upper right of the site...

Would that be knitwits.com? I'm not getting anything with Knitwits in it.

Thanks for all the sites everyone. Jenny, here is the knitwits site http://www.geocities.com/knitwits_heaven/. I wanted to include the site links but I was juggling a 2 yr. old when I got to that point  .
Most of their patterns cost $2 but they are worth it. They come out so nice. Also, you can join their mailing list to be notified when they add patterns. The ladies who run the site are very nice and helpful :D .

I really like Melissa's Knit Dishcloth Patterns (http://home.earthlink.net/~oscarsdotter/id2.html). She has an adorable log cabin pattern at the bottom. The images that are knitted always show up really well because the patterns are done in garter.

This is another site with lots of cute free dishcloths, including one for each of the 50 states (and some Canadian provinces too!).

ETA -- yeesh I see you said you knew them already... well now the link is there for everyone. ;)
