Hi! I've cast on for this Drops design poncho but now I'm not sure if I want a k2, p2 rib. It sounds.... heavy. I like the no seams and the length.... I have some really lovely soft yarn, Jo Sharp, 85% wool, 10% silk, 5% cashmere (yeah I want a summer poncho but using this yarn not cotton)

Anybody make one with a nice design?

oh, here's the drops pattern:

Well, there's this one from knitty:

it's definitely lighter than the one you posted.

there's also

kinda the same idea as the one you're looking at.

Haven't made either, but like the looks of them.

Hey Sandra, yeah I just saw that Paris Loop one this morning.... and was considering it. The pink one is a little too open for me. Funny, the Drops one looks so gorgeous but it's probably the model! The colors are nice though.
Thanks,
