So sorry this went neglected!

The only thing I can find are queries like yours on other forums. (I just typed "convert flat knitting to round" in the google search box).

Here's (http://www.socknitters.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=4191&sid=dca29865256e728cf60472ebdf4c43fc) a place to get you started.

Perhaps now that this topic has been bumped, someone else will chime in!

Sorry, I don't know of any books, either.

Julie, there's an opening for you! Figure this out, then write the book!

I'm not being sarcastic, either--you're not the first to ask this question, nor will you be the last! Seize the moment!

I have tons and tons of knitting books, but not a one has any information on converting. Sorry.

Normally I would not respond since I cannot give you any guidance.

Hi Momwolf

WHAT IS THAT ON YOUR MESSAGE? Scared the hell out of me!

It's late at night here - there I am, can't sleep because of this heat and your whatsname, THING leaped out at me. Is it legal? I mean, should it be allowed out? I'll bet you need a licence - .... witter ... moan ... I'll never be the same ... should have a health warnin' ... things they allow these days ...

I hope I've recovered enough by mornin' to pull myself together and have a look for a book for you over here. ANYTHING YOU WANT - just keep IT - whats its face, under control.

Yours, reduced to a twitching wreck!

Good Morn .... AAAAEEEEEEEIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!
Oh, MG it's a VIRUS .... IT'S SPREAD ..... THERE'S TWO OF THEM NOW .....

'OK .. don't panic .... take it easy'

'Who're you'

'The Voice of Reason and Common Sense'

'Took your time gettin' here - you've been AWOL forever'

'No I've not -it's just that we've never met before. Right, don't make any fast moves and above all, DON'T MAKE EYE CONTACT WITH THEM, THEY COULD TURN NASTY. JUST BACK OFF QUIETLY.'

'Then what?'
'LEGGIT! but tell Momwolf that you'll have a good mooch for a book and get back to her asap'

'OK - just hope there's no more THINGIES LURKING.'

'Well, if there is, just put up a sign and sell tickets on the door and there's an ER just up the road.'

'ER!? What's the Queen got to do with this? I mean, I'm sure she's a very nice lady and all that but somehow I don't think a cute little hat and a string of pearls is gonna cut the mustard here ...'

'Brilliant idea. Best thing to do is ring McDonalds and ask them to come over - the THINGIES might like a burger and coke ... it's not ideal but it's the best we can do in this situation.

'OK but we'll get Fish n Chips as well ...'

'Creep out quietly and just keep goin' and look out for a book!'

See ya later

Check this (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0892725338/sr=8-7/qid=1153365843/ref=pd_bbs_7/104-3395359-9202319?ie=UTF8) out from the library. It gives all different types of sweater designs in the round. The book teaches you to get your gauge and put your sweater in the round. I  the cable bind off.
