i like that pattern but my qauge doesn't match that patterns. The gauge on this yarn is 13 sts to 16 rows on us 10.5 needles. Is there anyway i could make this pattern work with my yarn?

All you would need to do is add more stitches to your cast on row to make the poncho the size you want. You'll just be knitting two rectangles and sewing them together as the directions and photos designate. It's VERY easy!

I made that pattern for my 12 yr old and its super easy to make.

Its just 2 long rectangles done seperately and then sewn together.

Depending on how big you need it will determine how many you need to cast on. If you don't want to do the math (cause I never can figure it out either) just look for patterns that call for the same size needles and gauge. That way you get roughly the same output.

Good luck!
