I made a trip to the new LYS here in Atlanta and picked up some yarn for my KAL. I'm substituting it for Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Aran. Anyone used it before--I swear, if they weren't labeled, I wouldn't be able to tell the difference. There is 3% more microfiber and 3% less cashmere but it feel luscious! I got an extra set of dpns and the yellow thing is a cute little tag for your knitting bag where you can mark the sizes of needles you own so when you go to a store and pick up a pattern, you know if you have the right size needles!
The colors I bought are a dark red and muted sort of lime green. The colors aren't depicted well in my photo.
If any of you have used this yarn--Classic Yarns Cashsoft Aran--let me know what you thought!

Haven't tried it but it sounds super soft!! And I LOVE that needle card--that helps with what you have and you don't!! COOL!

Ooh I'm soo jealous! I think that tomorrow first thing I'm running out to buy some stuff too. I haven't had anything new in a while now, especially new yarn...I'm starting to get that feeling. You know the one. The one where you're not sure if the yarn you've practically insulated your house with will last you your whole lifetime. That maybe tomorrow all the sheep will be bald and unable to grow any more fleece and some madman has set fire to all the fleeces. That feeling that...maybe you'll only have your stash.

I    Cashsoft DK...didn't know it came in an aran weight! It's a perfect sub for Cashmerino. (Not cheaper here, sigh, but my LYSs don't carry DB yarns.) The colors are fantastic, too.

I actually played with CashSoft in a LYS yesterday, it does feel just like Cashmerino. Have fun!

It's not cheaper here either--I substituted b/c they didn't have the color I wanted in the DB.
Yes, it comes in aran too--I'm not sure if there are other weights (besides dk)--and I agree--the colors they have are lovely. I wanted a dark brown but couldn't find it but I think that's b/c the LYS didn't have it in stock yet--she has only been open for a week and is still waiting for a few shipments to come in.
