View Full Version : For those who have done the Anthropologie capelet...

Says to CO 49...I keep coming up a stitch short, and have written it down to double check. Of course I figured this out AFTER I got the ribbing done. Did ya'll just CO 50 instead or do a MI or what?

OK, talking to myself here (we all do it, right? ;) )...The first row of the body has

Row 1, RS: k2, p6, yo, pm, p1, yo, p7, yo, pm, p1, yo, p16, yo, pm, p1, yo, p7, yo, pm, p1, yo, p6, k2

I see that the first stitches before the first marker does not have a P1 like the last stitches after the last marker do...it's not balanced...so should there be another P1 after the first YO and before the marker, OR should that P1 after the last marker be taken out?

Gah! Am I suddenly math disabled or something? Now I come up with needing 51 stitches...someone please double check.

CO 49, work in 1 x 1 rib for 2 inches (although I'm just doing about 1 1/2 since it's going to be a baby sized one)

Row 1, RS: k2, p6, yo, pm, p1, yo, p7, yo, pm, p1, yo, p16, yo, pm, p1, yo, p7, yo, pm, p1, yo, p6, k2

I come up with...I'm just not trusting the pattern. ;)

I think the P16 should be P15. If you download the PDF version of the pattern that's what it says there and it all works out.

Here's the link:

I did this pattern and had no problems. I think it may just be a typo on her blog.

I didn't even know there was a PDF link either! Where was that on her blog? I just C&P from her blog.

You have to go to her home page and then it's on the right, next to a Circular Shrug pattern too...just under the Peony Dyes button
