I took a drive on Saturday, and "happened" upon a LYS that was having a HUUUUUGE one day sale to celebrate new owners. I got a ton of yarn, 2 addi bamboo circs (for fetching (http://knittinghelp.com/knitting/forum/viewtopic.php?t=15462) from knitty (http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEsummer06/PATTfetching.html)), cat bordhi's book Socks Soar on 2 Circular Needles, all for just UNDER 100 bucks!!!!!!!

On a sadder note, one of the kitties decided he wanted the back of my Lift and Separate, and proceeded to PULL it out of my knitting bag and CHEW a big *** hole in the middle of it  I don't know if I can fix it by dropping the stitches and picking them up again, or if I should just frog back. :verysad:

YUM! Nice haul! The hole doesn't look that bad...I would probably at least try to fix it before frogging.

The thing is, I don't know WHICH cat it was! I can't yell at/squirt/cook both of them, so I just had to let it go.... I've been wandering around the house going "bad kitty" to both of them alternately all day, so.

Becca, it's knitpicks andean silk... yummy! Maybe my new favorite yarn!

I take a stand in defending your kitties. They are innocent ! They didn't do it !

Howsabout this for the Boucle... it calls for 2 of that very yarn!
That is if ponchos aren't beneath you... ;)

It's one of the first patterns I bought online about 5 minutes after I finished my first scarf. Two years ago I thought "man, this is so way beyond my ability..." I have yet to do it, or get the yarn for it. But still, I think it's cooler than the usual "poncho"

Sorry Andrea.... It was in loves park, and I was blinded by the crowd and the yarn and the sale and the EXCITEMENT of it all that I didn't think about calling anyone!! I'm bad. :verysad:

Binky, that's a neat pattern! I might look at that... I'm not sure if I'm a poncho person or not.... I'm afraid they'll hang on me wierd or something.

I fixed the kitty problem... I had to rip back three whole inches :wall: but I'll feel better knowing that it's RIGHT and not just FIXED.
