SAN PABLO, CA, US 08/10/2006 12:47 P.M. THE PACKAGE IS DELAYED DUE TO A TRAIN DERAILMENT

They better not lose my yarn! :tap: Um, I mean, I hope no one got hurt!

If it makes you feel better, my Knitpicks order arrived a day earlier than usual!

probably not huh? :teehee:

I would think that you should be good since they actually KNOW that the package is on that train.

*sigh* Why does this have to happen with a really big order? I ordered enough Noro Silk Garden for Lady Eleanor (or a sweater, I can't decide) and a bag of Jaeger Trinity - a total splurge because IT WAS ON SALE.

:waah:

I'm sorry but that was too funny. At least they have a good excuse like a train derailment. :rofling:

I once was tracking a yarn package, and it was "out for delivery." Woo-hoo, right? Then there was an exception because of a stupid blizzard and they apparently took the trucks off the road. Wimps. :!!!:

Well hopefully your package wasn't actually ON the train, maybe on a vehicle waiting to get around said derailed train? One can hope anyway....

I'm sending you package arrival vibes. I've got one that's out there, and I have no derailed train. I hope it comes ASAP for you!

Well things are looking up! The latest update is that it arrived in San Pablo, so hopefully it'll be loaded on the truck tomorrow! :cheering: :cheering:

I'm sure it was the first thing they got off the derailed train. 8)

It'll be my first time using Silk Garden for a project. I got an orphan ball to play with from my lys and that pretty much decided it for me. I like Trinity too - such an elegant yarn.

I'm sure it was!!! :rofling:
