As I said previously, there were 3 yarns stores within walking distance of the B&B my DH and I stayed at this weekend to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary. So guess what I found...... Malabrigo of course!!! :yay: Since finances are tight I could only allow myself to pick up one skein.... so now I have to decide if I want to make a hat or mittens! I like loong scarves, so I don't think I'd have enough to make one of those. Anyone have pattern recommendations? I got the Lime Blue btw.

Congratulations on your first Mmmmmmm purchase!! :woot:
As for patterns, knit a scrunchable scarf (http://www.knitlist.com/96gift/giftsscarf.htm)! It feels sooo good knit with Mmmmmmmalabrigo! I'd cast-on 20 stitches (18 for the pattern, plus two for selvage) and use #9 needles. It works out to a nice length and width.

Last week I made two purchases of some Mmmmmmm. :cheering: It is so soft!! I'm going to knit a scarf with the one and not sure yet with the other. I too want MORE of it. :muah:

the scrunchable scarf looks cute! Would only one skein be enough for it? Also, I'm a bit confused on the selvage thing... do I just knit those 2 stitches, slip them, or something else? Thanks!

One skein is good! For the selvedge edge, you slip the first stitch of every row and knit the last stitch of every row.

Thanks Andrea! I plan on starting this as soon as my ball winder comes in the mail so I can wind the skein up! :cheering:
