Asking for your valuable advice once again.

I bought some DK cotton but it seems to be "falling apart". It is not taught. I think this will make it difficult to knit with.

Is this a fault? Should I return it?

Is it just the end that looks like it's unraveling? Cotton will do that. Once it's knitted, though, it will stay twisted properly.
