I FINALLY finished this Stripy Sweater, the largest item of clothing ever knitted by me! I finished it on August 18th just in time to pack it away as the weather grows warmer :doh:... but I HAVE worn it on a few of those colder days! In public!
Features:
* "Cara Mia" yarn
* Seamless, circular construction from the top, down
* Understated Crocheted collar (after 3 failed attempts at knitting. Go Crochet!)
* Nearly off-the-shoulder, but it STAYS ON
* Cuff/Hem was "BO In Pattern" (as suggested by Angelia, in earlier "Help Me" messages. Thanks matey!)
With regards to this website for suggesting the pattern:

Wow, that looks really great on you. It's exactly the kind of sweater you don't mind wearing all the time. I, too, will give a cheer for crochet. Yay!

ETA: Did you find this pattern fit well as written or did you have to do modifications for sizing?

Hi Jamadian!! Thanks for your kind comment.
I didn't exactly follow the pattern I linked to! I didn't want a baggy sweater (like a jumper) so I used K3P2 rib all over. So the waist and bust aren't actually "fitted"
Here's a second link which I plagiarised:
http://www.woolworks.org/patterns/raglan.html
I started from the collar and worked downwards, measuring the neck opening first (about 70cm), and dividing front, back and raglan sleeves as per this pattern.

What a great modification to get that perfect fit!
And that 2nd link is fantastic!! I can't wait to try this, thank you! :happydance:
