I'm looking for a basic sweater pattern for baby/toddler. I dont want it to have any buttons or anything and if i can do it in the round or something that will be excellent! the less seaming the better! Do you guys know any patterns??

I made a t-shirt style sweater that both my boys wore. It's garter stitch, start at the bottom, knit until underam length, cast on stitches at either end for sleeeves, knit a few inches, bind off middle stitches for the neck and cast them on again for the next row, knit the same number of inches as the other side, bind off the sleeve stitches, and knit until the same length below the underarm. Then you only have to seam up the sides and sleeves. You do have to seam, but it's just one piece.

This is the first sweater I ever knitted (about two months ago) and I made matching ones for my two grand daughters-5 and 1. After I followed the pattern for the first one, I figured out how to do the second one in the round. It's a fast knit and very rewarding!

I just made my first sweater ever for my daughter who is 14 months. It was from a pattern in an older book called "Patons Fairytale DK" (1987) and the sweater was called "sweater options" (kind of boring but cute". It's a nice weight and easy to wear. It has raglan sleeves that are easy to sew in.
I can scan it if you are interested.
