Don't you just love to knit for little girls?! I do...well, I normally do :roflhard:  In this instance I am so happy to say that it's done! I say this because 1. I DETEST knitting with acrylic and b. I HATE knitting with big needles....I used both on these projects! I did this because I was knitting for kids, 2 of my great-nieces. Acrylic, you know, washable yarns are the best for kids, what can I say?!

Okay, here's what we have....
Short Snort Tank from KnitandTonic (http://knitandtonic.typepad.com/) knit with Woolease (oops, forgot about this, didn't use big needles on this one, rather my usual size 6s!) and to go along with it, a child sized Anthropologie Inspired Capelet (http://peonyknits.blogspot.com/2005/11/anthropologie-inspired-capelet-fo-and.html) also knit with Woolease.
The other 2 sets are capelets and simple raglan tops from Loop D Loop (http://knitpicks.com/books/itemid_30620/books_display.aspx#) these were knit with size 10 circs and Lion Brand Jiffy (hate this yarn!, but great for kids, right?!)
Please look over my terrible knitting! I lost my ability to control my tension using this Jiffy yarn and bigger needles! What's up with that

Sorry, I'm done with my whining about not liking the yarn, it was all worth it because I knit these for my lovely great-nieces :cheering:

 I'm sorry!
I used to love it, too, I loved all LB yarns. But the more that I knit the more that my taste changes! I'm afraid that I have become...a bit of a knitting snob. What can I say  I likes what I likes....and, I've finally admitted that I have this problem.........LOL, just kidding, I've known for a while :teehee:

Your niece looks very pleased. Did you let her choose what color she wanted or do they wear different sizes? BTW, I can't believe you don't like big needles -- it makes everything go so much faster!

Thanks, guys :muah:
The girls happen to be the same age. No, I didn't have them choose the colors, they didn't know I was knitting something for them. I feel ashamed because Olivia's little brother came running to me, too, and I had knit nothing for him :pout: So I'm going to have to whip up a hat for him, and Ryleigh's (other niece) little brother, too!
Jane, I don't know what it is, I just enjoy knitting with smaler needles. Perhaps when I use some of the Lamb's Pride bulky yarn that I have I will enjoy using bigger needles more, who knows?!
