Cool bag. Intersting pattern and colors... Is that cordoroy on the bottom? How'd you get it to stand up on its own? Looks like it will serve its purpose well... nice job!

yup, its corduroy. the bottom is rectangular...
its sewn in 5 pieces...bottom, front, back, 2 sides...and all fabric has interfacing to thicken it and make it sturdier. :P

very nice job! I actually have been sewing my own knitting bags, but now that I am so into knitting, I don't have time to sew any more knitting bags! :roflhard:

Now you need to make several different sizes and you need to fill each with a project.

Oh, our addictions know no bounds.........

Tsk, Tsk :fingerwag: no mutliples around here, been there, done that :roflhard:  :roflhard: Well, I have actually decided to probably keep a pair of socks going all the time so that they can be my 'portable' knitting project...other than that, though, I'm sticking with my monogamy

I love your bag, the color and fabric combos are great!
I made myself a new knitting bag a month ago (see it at www.homeschoolblogger.com/rohanknitter/ - scroll down a big) but now I'd like to make another in more fall-ish colors.
