Are we allowed to talk about crochet on this site or it's reserved to knit?

Or do you know a similar site for crochet?

There are people here who crochet as well as knit. Knitters often use crocheted borders for their projects, too. You are welcome to discuss your crochet here, but if you don't knit at all you might prefer a crochet forum since our topics of conversation tend to be about knitting. Please feel free to join us though if you wish! Maybe you'll learn to knit! :teehee:

I'm sure someone will be along that knows more about crochet forums. :)

don't know of any crochet boards, but I'm a crocheter, spinner & weaver just starting to learn knitting.

Thanks for your answers, I was just asking out of curiousity. I prefer knitting but I also crochet. So now I know that if I need to I can bring up the subject and won't offend anyone :teehee:

Oh, I am so offended! :teehee: Actually, I've been wanting to try some crochet too. I believe there's a group on yahoo, though I don't know how active it is. A little googling action might lead you in the right direction.

I both knit and crochet, though I'm a far better crocheter than I am a knitter!

Crochetville (http://www.crochetville.org) is a large crochet forum, similar to this place. :)

Thank you knit-errant, this site seems (almost) as helpful as knittinghelp. Of course KH is my favorite one :happydance:

I'm trying to learn... I have did enough for borders and made my little girl a purse.. however I want to make this shrug wrap thing and I can't get that thing to stay straight... My mom lives in a different state than me so its waiting for her to come up and get it going straight again.. I'm thinking about just knitting it

Another vote for Crochetville. It's as great as this board!

I am a much better crocheter than knitter. I've been into knitting lately cuz it's still so new and interesting to me, but I've spent a lot of time at Crochetville before I came here. It's a great place.
