Wow you have made some beautiful things.
I love everything the cat hat is so sweet! I have 8 cats not sure any would wear it but you never know.
Where did you get the pattern and what exactly is it?

Congratulations on all the fantastic work you have done.

I would agree totally it is an addiction :teehee:

I didn't find a pattern for Homespun socks, but I think you could use the Two-Strand Woolease pattern. Just use one strand of Homespun instead of two strands of Woolease.

But, be forewarned. Homespun is a ROYAL PAIN to work with unless you're only doing garter stitch. The yarn splits VERY easily, so it's hard to see the separate stitches sometimes. I can imagine that the heel and gusset will be very difficult to do with Homespun.

Good luck.

If you ever need another sock pattern, here is a website that lists some by yarn weight.

OY I know what a PITA Homespun is. I just finished making this person a pieced cardigan. Now she has 3 balls of Homespun left over. Thanks for your help I will take a look at the links!

The Mustachio hat was a kit I bought at my local yarn shop www.fancyimageyarn.com She sells them as kits, a hat, or hat and socks and a new one for cardigan.

We have three cats Phoebe who is the one wearing the hat, then Kacy and then Toby.

Besides being a PITA to knit with, I don't think Homespun would make very satisfactory socks. Acrylic doesn't have any memory and tends to stretch so they would become baggy. Also, acrylic doesn't absorb moisture the way wool does so some people wearing acrylic socks find their feet becoming very sweaty. Lastly, Homespun sheds like nobody's business in the wash. After they've been washed half a dozen times there won't be much left of them.

 this is what she sent me. Personally I don't like this product. Believe me i'm not in a hurry to make anything else with this yarn :wall:
