What do you do when you run across a pattern that says (Note: remainder is worked in stockinette st., k each round.) I thought stockinette was knit 1 row, purl 1 row... so on this do I still knit each row? I've seen this in a few different patterns and its confusing me.

Thanks!

If you are working in the round, whether by using circulars or dpns, knitting every stitch of every round will produce stockinette stitch. I suspect that these patterns you have seen are patterns that are in the round.
