I fell in love with Herringbone Poncho in Last Minute Gifts. I splurged and bought the Blue Sky Worsted Alpaca...wow was that expensive.

Now I am having second thoughts - I have read a few blogs - seems like people who have used a substitute yarn didn't have theirs come out the way they expected.

Since I bought what the pattern called for I was trying to find anyone who used the Blue Sky? Is it too big? Does it drape ok? Did you have fun knitting it?
