I wanted to make the Voodo Wristwarmers (link here) (http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEwinter02/PATTvoodoo.html) and it calls for

DK worsted weight yarn

So I already bought Knitpicks Eleagance (link here) (http://www.knitpicks.com/Yarns/itemid_5420111/yarn_display) which is

DK weight - hand wash

Is that the right yarn? It looks like the number of stiches per inch match both sites.

What does it mean when they say, DK worsted?

That should work just fine. I checked and the gauge for the pattern is 20 sts over 4" and the Elegance is 22 sts. You will want to make a swatch to see if you should bump up to a size 6 needle.

Gauge is your friend.....but, you do have the right yarn....it's just they are all just off enough to make us sorry if we don't do a gauge.
