View Full Version : Request: Lacy Heirloom-Quality Baby Dress Pattern

10-16-2006, 12:22 PM
Hello. ^_^

I am in search of baby dress patterns that are lacy and elegant, something my daughter would be able to treasure always. I have been searching several places, but have found nothing interesting. Several chirstening gowns I've found were very lovely, but I need something special for family outings when her grandmas come to visit.

As I'm due November 8th, I'd like to get started now. ^_^ Free would be nice, but if that's not possible I can do my best to buy some.

Thank-you for your time, and I'm quite sorry for any inconvenience.

I love the Garn studios baby clothes.

Here is one free pattern for a lacy dress with hat (http://www.garnstudio.com/lang/en/visoppskrift.php?d_nr=b13&d_id=17&lang=en).

The pattern for This dress (http://www.beartoes.com/gallery2/v/todo/daleofnorwaydress.jpg.html) is not free, and the dress is not frilly, but I love it and would definitely consider it heirloom quality. It has a matching jacket and can be found in Dalegarn Baby no. 142 and it has some other lovely dresses and outfits.

I made the dress that Jan linked to. The first link.
I changed the skirt to a more open lace pattern, and added a satin lining.
