CINDY!!!! Im hoping THIS is a good place to talk to you...

I received TWO skeins of your sock yarn for my BDay (the "Dune" you sent me as Marce's proxy and "Cherry Blue" from SaraJayne) I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!! SOOOO soft! And the colorways, especially the Dune, are really unique compared to other hand-dyers.

I will be frequenting your shop in the near future! And, thanks for the extra little st markers/earrings!

Hi Kelly!

Sorry if I missed a post addressed somewhat to me, I've been MIA from the KH forums recently (due to classes and shop-related activities)! I also missed out on wishing you a happy bday on your blog thread, so happy belated!

I'm so glad that you liked the yarns!! Nothing like yarny love for your birthday, right? I try to dye my yarns in colorways that I would like myself as gifts. And when other people (besides me) like them too, it's even better. You, Sara Jayne, Marce, & Sharon have all given me a big head, hee hee. :aww:

Cindy.... do you do special requests?? I LOVE that Midnight Haze colorway... and, I need some charcoal grayish socks to wear for work. But, do you ever do DK-wt in your superwash merino? Something that would knit up nicely on sz 3-4's?

Thank you, Aineepooh!

Kelly, I can do special requests, but I have to get back to you on what I have. I know I have some superwash merino thicker than fingering weight, but I'm a little unsure at the moment what weight it is. I'll check when I get home tonight and get back to you!

Ok Kelly, here's the verdict: I measured wpi and I got 15, which is just barely sport weight; however, the vendor I got it from classified the yarn as dk weight. And this makes me realize that I listed one of my items wrong! Thanks for inadvertently helping me catch that!

So would you like me to dye you up a hank of Midnight Haze with this sport/dk weight superwash merino? If so, I'll post a special order listing on Etsy.
