Finished my practice scarf! Well, to be honest, I just have the ends of the yarn to weave in. I grabbed a skein of LB Homespun and some size 13 needles and just did this in garter stitch. The beginning is a bit wide, I was trying too hard to knit loosely. But then it kind of evened out.

that looks fantastic, i love the yarn colour(s) very interesting to look at. I had the same problem with my first scarf from trying to knit loosly, luckily it worked out just like your, and you can't even tell it wasn't supposed to be wider.

I hate to tell you this, horve, but that's not a "practice" scarf -- it's a real scarf! A nice one too! Congratulations! :cheering:

It's beautiful! I'd say for a first project you are well on your way!!!
I used that same color Homespun to make a shawl for my grandmother...it is so soft and luxurious, even if it is a little difficult to work with. So kudos to you!!!
