We went to this yarn store http://www.make1yarns.com/blog/
for the book signing of "Not Your Mama's Crochet" Amy was super nice and helped us out a lot. I don't crochet but a friend of mine purchased her book and while we were eating sushi and drinking wine we browsed the store looking at , what else? Yarn.

I bought Malabrigo!! I admit..I didn't believe any of you when you said this wool was soft..I mean wool is itchy and scratchy...but now I know :thud: Its soooooo soft and its going to be fun and nice to knit with...I need a perfect pattern for it though..I've never spent this much on two skeins of yarn before.

I purchased the Loro barranququero 176..my digital isn't working but I found this pic..its someone elses blog but this is the colour I got.

Scroll down a bit...the picture doesn't do it justice but it is so yummy.

**edited to add** I really wish I could afford the knitting retreat the LYS is planning. *sigh*

Me too! I just got my first 3 skeins on Friday. I'm also looking for patterns for one skein. A lot of people have made the Scrunchable Scarf or My So Called Scarf. I just can't see felting this--it feels so soft, even though I really couldn't do the squeeze test as mine came wound up already :cheering:

My colors are Paris Night, Azul Profundo and Stonechat.
