We went yesterday to the used book store so the hubby could get a few books and i found a box of old knitting magazines, i found one call Bulky Knits from 1963 the price in 63 was .75 cents i payed $1.75 kind of funny
i really haven't had the chance to look through it yet but even if i never use it, it is something cool that i will be able to hang on to.

I'd bet the ads in that book are fun to look at--lots of blue eye shadow! :teehee:

Our library had a book sale last weekend and I got a mid 70s Family Circle 101 Fashions and Crafts for 10 cents. I'm looking at the sweater patterns from a `basic shaping and stitch pattern' standpoint, not the colors and stuff. Also picked up a House of White Birches book New Directions in Knitting for $2. It's got quite a few `usable with minor mods' patterns.
