I want to do the Butterfly lace pattern and it say multiple of 8+7, I'm doing this on bulky weight for a scarf and wanted to just do the minimum amount of stitches b/c I think it would be to wide otherwise, don't you think? So would I cast on 15?
The pattern is from 365 knitting stitches perpetual calendar, I'm just not sure how to use it. tia.

yes either 15 sts or 16 + 7 =23 sts if you want your scarf to be wider...
